Does the output have a watermark?+
No. Every cut-out — free or paid — exports without any watermark, logo, or signature. The output is yours to use anywhere, under a full commercial license.
How long does background removal take?+
Most images cut in 3–8 seconds at HD resolution. U²-Net is the fastest (under 3 seconds) for product batch processing. BiRefNet is the default for portraits and complex edges (5–6 seconds). BiRefNet Pro at 4K resolution can take 8–15 seconds but produces editorial-grade detail.
What image formats and sizes are supported?+
PNG, JPG and WEBP input up to 16 MB and 4096×4096 resolution. Output in PNG (transparent), JPG (solid background) or WEBP (modern web). HEIC from iPhones is converted automatically on upload. Animated GIF and TIFF are not currently supported — convert to PNG first.
Will the AI preserve hair and fur details?+
Yes. BiRefNet and BiRefNet Pro are specifically tuned for hair-strand-level precision — individual flyaways, beard hairs, fur, lace and jewelry edges are preserved cleanly without halos. For best results, use a high-contrast source photo (subject visibly distinct from background).
Can I use the cut-outs commercially?+
Yes. All cut-outs include a full commercial license — use them on Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, eBay, marketing campaigns, ads, packaging, anywhere. Output is yours. No attribution required and no per-use fees, no matter the volume.
Can I batch-process many images at once?+
Yes, on paid plans. Drop up to 100 images per batch, pick one engine + one set of settings, and the queue processes them in parallel. Common workflows: e-commerce sellers cutting 100 SKUs at once, photographers cutting an entire wedding shoot, designers prepping a campaign deck.
Are my photos kept private?+
Yes. Photos uploaded to ZNIX.ai are processed in-session and removed automatically after cut-out generation. They are not added to any training dataset. Your image, your data, your output.
